Jonathan Greber is a supervising sound editor whose career spans feature films, animated blockbusters, prestigious documentaries, television series, and non-fiction programming. He is based in Novato, California, and works at Skywalker Sound, a leading post-production facility renowned for its high standards in sound design and editing. Greber’s voice editing and sound supervision credits include major projects like The Raid 2 (2014), Cloverfield (2008), and Minority Report (2002). He has gone on to supervise sound on a wide array of high-profile titles across different media — among them Sing, Despicable Me 3, The Croods: A New Age, Spiderhead, The Secret Life of Pets 2, Andor, X‑Men ’97, McCartney 3, 2, 1, The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart, and Laurel Canyon, to name just a sample. Jonathan Greber has earned significant industry recognition for his work. He won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Non-fiction or Reality Program for The Bee Gees: How Can You Mend a Broken Heart in 2021. The previous year, 2020, he was nominated in the same Emmy category for Laurel Canyon: A Place in Time. In 2022, he received another Emmy nomination, this time as ADR editor on the Disney+ series Andor, for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour). He was also honoured by the Motion Picture Sound Editors with Golden Reel Awards. In 2020, he won the Outstanding Achievement in Sound Editing award in the Non-Theatrical Documentary category for his work on Laurel Canyon. In 2021, he received a Golden Reel Award for his work on the Laurel Canyon project as well.
